HR Partners by Randstad has an opportunity for a Safety Advisor to join our client site in Brisbanes CBD. This role is an immediate start until October 2024, with a potential of extension. Paying $82.33 per hour.

About the role:

The purpose of this role will be to lead contract administration system for infrastructure projects and to implement and embed updated contract administration processes. Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and maintain productive working relationships and partnerships across a range of stakeholder groups to support business objectives.
• Lead for infrastructure projects.
• Assist to implement and embed updated contract administration processes.
• Coach and mentor staff in WHS assurance program tools and verification activities for infrastructure projects
• Provide expert professional advice and services across the full range of operational health and safety functions.
• Lead a comprehensive WHS assurance review contract administration system for infrastructure projects and to implement and embed updated contract administration processes.

About the individual:

• Demonstrated high level knowledge of WHS legislation and sector requirements.
• Expertise and experience in WHS requirements for construction, contract administration and assurance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including high-level written communication skills and the demonstrated ability to tailor communication style to a range of internal and external stakeholders, including technical content.
• Undertake travel required as part of your accountabilities, including on -water operations.
• Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
• Applicants must be based in Brisbane or able to travel to Brisbane CBD.
• Applicants must have full right to work in Australia.
• Government safety experience, highly desirable.
