HR Partners is excited to be partnering with a known Australian Professional Services organisation committed to innovation and efficiency across their business in a HR transformation project. As they continue to expand their HR capabilities, they are seeking an experienced HRIS Implementation Project Manager to assist their Program Director in managing the successful deployment of Dayforce across their HR ecosystem in a 2 month temproray project.


Position Overview:
The HRIS Dayforce Implementation Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of Dayforce HRIS implementation project. This individual will be responsible for assisting the Program Director in ensuring that the implementation is completed on time, within scope, and on budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HRIS systems project management, particularly Dayforce or open to Workday or other HRIS equivalents, and possess outstanding project management skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Working alongside the Program Director this is a purely project management role with responsibilities including but not limited to stakeholder management, running meetings, collating, discovery phase to completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Assist in maintaining detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are engaged, informed, and aligned on project goals and progress.
  • Monitor and manage project scope, ensuring any changes are properly evaluated and documented.
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating any project risks and issues to ensure successful project completion.
  • Facilitate user training and support post-implementation to ensure smooth adoption of the Dayforce platform.
  • Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement recommendations for Dayforce HRIS after go-live.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of end to end project management experience of HRIS implementations, ideally experience working with Dayforce.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS system functionality, business processes, and HR technology.
  • Proven track record of managing complex HRIS projects, preferably in large, multi-national organisations.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.
  • PMP, Scrum, or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
