As a Senior ER/IR Specialist, you’ll manage employee and industrial relation matters across various functions. Working autonomously, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership and HR teams to ensure compliance, drive solutions, and foster a positive, productive work environment.

Your role:

  • Employee Relations (ER) & Industrial Relations (IR) Management: Oversee and manage a range of ER/IR issues, including misconduct, performance, and conflict resolution across the business

  • Case Management: Handle complex employee relations cases and providing effective solutions

  • Collaboration with Leadership: Partner with leaders across various functions (e.g., supply chain, corporate) to provide strategic ER/IR guidance, aligning employee relations with organisational goals.

  • Support Interstate Team: Provide support to interstate team as required, addressing regional ER/IR needs and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.

  • Proactive Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve emerging ER/IR concerns promptly, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes and fostering a compliant, productive workplace.


Key Requirements:

  • Proven ER/IR Experience: Demonstrated expertise in handling complex employee relations and industrial relations issues across both front-line and corporate environments.

  • Strong Case Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple ER/IR cases simultaneously, providing effective resolutions in a timely and fair manner.

  • Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Labour laws, workplace regulations, and company policies, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.

  • Support Interstate Teams: Provide support to interstate teams as required, addressing regional ER/IR needs

  • Collaboration with Leadership: Partner with leaders across various functions to provide strategic ER/IR guidance.
