The CBD based business is characterised by an energetic, dynamic workforce. This role will report to the National Performance manager and will see you:

  • Manage the end to end Process for workers compensation claims.
  • Work closely with leaders and broader business to ensure the company's values are upheld in all dealings showing empathy and respect.
  • Undertake early interventions, ensuring case management plans meet the needs of relevant parties.
  • Be a national point of contact for escalated issues and policy regarding WC and rehabilitation case management.
  • Undertake relevant reporting and analysis on relevant data, ensuring the safety and confidentiality of relevant files.
  • Develop graduated return to work and suitable duties plans for injured workers
  • Train and develop staff and leaders on the rehabilitation of injured staff.
  • Work with CPO and HR team to support complex solutions to business needs, identifying key trends and emerging risks. Implement strategies to address issues.
  • Assist with the implementation of health and safety legislation

To be successful in the position you will have suitable experience in an injury management role and Workplace Rehabilitation and Return to Work accreditation. You will have a good understanding of injury management terminology, previous experience in case management, return to work plans and the ability to work with insurers. Experience in a service driven industry would be ideal. You will exhibit exceptional time management and prioritising skills, be able to influence, negotiate and consult at all levels and have a strong customer focus.
