The role:
This newly created People and Culture Opportunity, reporting to the Head of P&C - is to manage their team on a Permanent Full Time basis. In this role, you will lead the P&C function ensuring the efficient and high-quality delivery of P&C services across the business and its associated entities.

This is a truly generalist position and you will have the ability to work on a variety of tasks, projects and become exposed to several industries. This role will suit an agile HR professional who is able to handle ambiguity and who thrives in a busy environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the generalist P&C team, serving as an escalation point, while delegating and supervising service delivery to ensure optimal stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Oversee and support talent acquisition processes, fostering creative talent strategies and maintaining high standards of excellence.
  • Offer coaching, guidance, and solution-oriented advice to the team and people leaders, applying your expertise in end-to-end case management to resolve complex people-related issues.
  • Provide advice and ensure compliance with all P&C policies and processes, including OH&S and relevant legislation. Drive the successful execution of P&C programs, initiatives, and projects.

To be successful in this role:

You will have at least 3 years of experience working within a HR Business Partner role, or experience working as a HR Manager. Along with this..
  • Extensive expertise in the Fair Work Act and other employment legislation
  • Exceptional attention to detail. You are self-sufficient, highly organised, and proactive
  • Demonstrates effective problem-solving and a solution-focused mindset, while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
  • People-oriented, with the ability to build rapport and coach individuals at all levels
