This Organisation brings world-class sporting events to life, transforming venues into dynamic stages for competition and excitement. This is a newly created role and our client is seeking an experienced P&C Business Partner to serve as a true strategic partner across the organisation's HR function. This permanent, full-time position is based in Melbourne's CBD. The successful candidate will have the ability to fully engage with the business, helping to grow the capability of the team and making a positive impact across the organisation.

About the Role:
In this role you will act as a trusted advisor to the management team on all people-related matters, promote collaboration, support junior team members, contribute to strategic objectives, and drive change initiatives to improve efficiency and employee satisfaction. You will also support and enhance HR processes, maintain compliance with industrial standards, and deliver accurate HR data and reporting to inform decisions. You will also enjoy supporting initiatives involving diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement. You will also lean into the management of some employee grievances, conflicts, and concerns.


Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have around 5+ years of experience in a similar P&C Business Partnering role. Additionally,our client would love to see:

  • A positive and collaborative person, with the ability to promote teamwork and collaboration.
  • Experience in the sporting or events industry (highly valued).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • A sound understanding of employment legislation.
