job description

Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in Learning & Development? Join our clients People Services team in Melbourne as their Learning & Development Coordinator. This Aviation organisation is seeking a dedicated L&D Officer to manage and maintain their training and development activities.

This excellent opportunity is a fixed term, part-time contract, with flexibility to structure the work week as three full days or five shorter days (22.8 hours). With the organisations headquarters based near the Melbourne Airport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Record Management: Oversee maintenance of all training records, including tracking attendance, qualification levels, and achievement documentation.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure all mandatory training is up to date, manage recurrence reminders, and handle training bookings to maintain 100% compliance.
  • Feedback Management: Collect and manage course feedback, providing statistical reports and insights into training standards, and offer recommendations for improvement.
  • Enrolment Coordination: Manage all training enrolments, internal and external, across online and face-to-face platforms.
  • Vendor Liaison: Collaborate with external training providers to organise programs and resources as needed.
  • Event and Logistics Management: Oversee the logistics for external training programs


Qualifications:

  • Experience working within the Aviation space or across an organisation with high compliance requirements will be highly regarded
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, particularly ELMO
  • Strong organisational skills, with an eye for detail in record-keeping and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and liaise with external providers.
