This is an excellent opportunity for a HR Advisor looking to step up, or a Business Partner seeking to work as apart of an impactful organisation.

About the Role:
This exciting opportunity will see you contribute as a People Partner in a full time 2 year contract position, providing expert advice and delivering end-to-end people services. Working closely with leaders and a dedicated Senior People Partner, you’ll support the employee life cycle, performance planning, workforce initiatives, and culture enhancement in a close knit team within their CBD based office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic HR advice to leaders on recruitment, on boarding, workforce planning, and performance management.
  • Contribute to cultural and change initiatives, well being programs, and case management.
  • Interpret and apply enterprise agreements, legislation, and policies to resolve HR issues effectively.
  • Enhance people processes, including policy reviews and process improvement projects.
  • Manage people data, preparing accurate reports to inform decisions and drive organisational success.
  • Build productive stakeholder relationships and deliver clear, concise written communications, including reports, briefs, and presentations.

About You:
To thrive in this role, you will have...

  • Prior experience working within a State or Federal Government organisation in a HR Generalist role OR experience working with the Infrastructure / Construction sector.
  • Knowledge of Victorian Public Sector employment legislation and industrial agreements.
  • Exceptional written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing people data and leveraging analytics to support decisions.
