About the role

Our client is a dynamic organisation who is continually adapting to deliver effective outcomes for the community. As a HR people partner, you will join a growing team and play a key role in supporting their employees and driving the people initiatives

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR operational support and guidance to business units.
  • Manage employee relations issues and conduct thorough investigations
  • Partner with managers on performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Implement and administer HR policies and procedures.
  • Understand VPS enterprise agreement and provide guidance
  • Implement and analyse HR data and reporting to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Support recruitment and on-boarding processes.
  • Facilitate training and development programs.
  • Support the delivery of the health, safety & well-being program

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or People Partner.
  • Strong understanding of Victorian Government processes as well as HR best practices.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment
  • Strong experience in employee relations and performance management
  • Highly developed communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid business acumen with a proven ability to manage projects and prioritise tasks.
