job description

This national professional services firm has an enviable reputation for service excellence. They provide innovative and enduring services and solutions to a broad range of clients. Reporting to the HR Director, your main focus will be to provide a broad range of generalist HR duties for a national client group. In conjunction with peers based inter-state, you will also undertake project work at a national level. The role will see you utilise your HR Business Partnering skills to support this collaborative high performing team.

You will be providing a high level of service to internal clients and external stakeholders and the achievement of key projects other duties will include:

  • Provide timely HR advice to national teams on employee queries and general enquiries.
  • Partner with Graduate Coordinator to support National Graduate Recruitment Program
  • Support the talent acquisition team as required
  • Undertake national project work
  • Support the graduate recruitment advisor based in Brisbane
  • Assist with drafting, updating policies and procedures
  • Assist with the annual remuneration review and other cyclical HR duties
  • Maintain all HR related responsibilities which includes:
- Drafting employment contracts and letters e.g probation, parental leave, change in employment conditions etc
- Coordinating the new employee on-boarding and exiting processes
- Requests for employee changes with IT and payroll etc
- Assist withWH&S andRTW activities

About you

  • 5 years + experience in Human Resources
  • Experienced in professional services / partnered environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build strong business relationships with key partners and staff
  • Ability to service internal clients and produce high quality outcomes
  • Highly organised with attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office

You will be tertiary qualified with solid HR experience and will excel at developing and mentoring team members. As a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team, you will have commercial acumen, a confident consultative style, outstanding relationship building skills and a team orientated approach. You will enjoy working in a team environment but will have the capability to work with a high degree of autonomy.
