Are you ready to make a difference? An exciting opportunity awaits to become part of a world-renowned conservation organisation dedicated to fighting species extinction. This organisation operates multiple parks and sanctuaries and is driven by its vision of becoming a global leader in conservation. Every employee, across a diverse range of disciplines, contributes to this important mission.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled HR Business Partner to support one of the organisation’s premier locations. This full-time, 14 month contract position is based in Werribee and offers the flexibility of working from home options. As an integral member of the team, you will provide expert HR advice and support across all facets of human resources, working in a truly meaningful and lively environment.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Provide accurate, timely HR advice on employment conditions, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, from PD reviews to on boarding.
  • Coach and support managers on recruitment, employee relations, industrial relations, workforce planning, and performance management.
  • Handle workplace grievances, investigations, and cultural issues while ensuring compliance with laws and policies.
  • Support organisational change initiatives and prepare HR reports.
  • Deliver engaging training programs for employees and managers.
  • Assist in HR system upgrades and process improvements

Is this role for you?

If you’re an experienced HR generalist who excels in evolving environments and takes pride in supporting a diverse workforce, this role could be your ideal next step.

To succeed in this position, you will bring:

  • Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with expertise in employee relations case management and working within a unionised environment.
