job description

Our client, a household media name, whose purpose and values are deeply connected to the Australian people, is seeking a HR Business Partner to join their team in Sydney on a six month fixed-term contract.


This is a true generalist role which will see you partnering and providing expert advice across the full breadth of the People & Culture remit. You’ll work closely with the Executive team and Senior Leaders to coach and guide on best practice HR with a mixture of BAU and Project work. You’ll be joining a highly regarded team and will be reporting into an engaging Head of Business Partnering.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leadership, providing your expertise and consulting across the employee life cycle
  • Guide, coach and support managers throughout the application of HR policies and procedures
  • Support with the development and implementation of People & Culture strategies
  • Actively participate and promote business values, maintaining a safe and positive workplace environment
  • Maintain effective communication with your stakeholders and broader team

The ideal candidate will have significant HR Generalist experience and will have exposure to working in large, complex organisations. Excellent communication and partnering skills, along with the ability to adapt to new environments quickly. A strong understanding of local legislation and employment law will be an advantage. Experience working in media or government is highly regarded.
