The Role:

As the People and Culture Business Partner, you’ll collaborate with leadership teams to align HR strategies with business goals. You’ll advise on key initiatives, projects recruitment, performance management, and workplace relations, fostering a high-performance culture. Your role will focus on supporting leadership development and driving a positive, engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Partnering & Workplace Relations: Take a business partnering approach to support managers and employees, offering guidance on performance management, workplace relations, and employee transitions. Foster strong relationships with leadership to help drive business goals and a positive culture.
  • Project Management: Lead key HR initiatives, such as performance reviews, employee engagement surveys, and the creation of reward and recognition programs. Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of the on-boarding and off-boarding experience.
  • Strategic HR Partnering: Provide strategic HR advice, coach leadership, and promote organisational values. Support diversity, inclusion, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Compliance & HR Systems: Ensure compliance with relevant industrial and employment legislation, assist in HR system implementation, and provide HR data to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience as an HR Generalist or Advisor, preferably with HR Business Partnering exposure.
  • Understanding of interpreting modern Awards and industrial instruments.
  • Proven experience with HRIS (ELMO/Employment Hero experience is a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve complex HR challenges and provide leadership support.
