job description

HR Partners by Randstad is excited to be partnering with a global name for a Head of People and Culture role based in Sydney Olympic Park. The role will lead the People and Culture (‘P&C’) function and team responsible for partnering with leaders in the business, developing and implementing P&C Strategies in line with people, business and commercial goals. This role will look after all verticals in P&C including payroll, learning and development, organisational development, and Work Health and Safety in its remit.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships especially at a Senior Leadership Level
  • Developing and Executing P&C strategies
  • Lead a team of P&C including payroll
  • Manage goal setting and performance review processes
  • Manage compensation/remuneration and benefits processes and reviews, bench marking, and etc.
  • Manage workplace relations (ER and IR) matters
  • Approve payroll runs
  • Implementation of organisational changes i.e., org charts, restructures, etc.
  • Engagement and feedback surveys
  • Manage all aspects of workers compensation and Return to Work process
  • Responsible for WHS matters
  • Reporting
  • Escalation point for field team for HR and Workplace related advice and matters
  • Partnering with all levels of leadership for guidance, coaching and support on all people matters

To be successful in this position, you will be:

  • Minimum 5 years in senior HR/P&C generalist experience
  • Experience in a similar organisation and industries i.e., agency, marketing, media, communications, public relations, etc.
