HR Partners are excited to collaborate with Perfection Fresh in their search for the next HR Business Partner!

This role is ideal for an individual who excels in a hands-on environment and is dedicated to cultivating a positive workplace culture. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will collaborate closely with both management and employees to address employee relations issues, implement best practices, and support our workforce. Your expertise will be essential in promoting effective communication, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. Strong interpersonal skills, a thorough understanding of labor laws and regulations, and the ability to navigate complex workplace dynamics are key to success in this position.

You will be responsible for but not be limited to:

  • Work as part of the HR team to deliver proactive HR initiatives across the organisation, including areas of talent acquisition, retention and employee development and workforce engagement.
  • Providing effective IR management, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders, particularly with union organisations
  • Effectively manage workplace grievances, conducting workplace investigations as required. Ensuring a fair and consistent process.
  • Develop and implement strategies to foster positive employee relations and promote employee engagement to assist in ensuring a productive work environment.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders to empower leaders in the areas of performance improvement, providing and facilitating effective employee feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with the requirements of multiple awards, staying current with Australian employment regulations and modern Awards.
  • Assist in the development and review of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring they are in line with legal requirements and industry best practices.

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Tertiary qualification in human resources, industrial relations or Law.
  • Minimum 7 year's experience as a human resources practitioner
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated capacity to successfully communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders across a broad socio-economic group and different culture
  • Experience with the application of employment legislation and industrial award
  • Demonstrated experience in handling complex employee relation issues and conducting investigations.
  • Demonstrated written, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
